Christina Blackley is a graphic designer and illustrator who works in both print and digital design. As an artist, colourist and graphic designer, Christina has experience in project oversight for the production of graphics for website, graphic novels and promotional materials. Upon graduating from University of Toronto and Sheridan College with a degree in art and art history, Christina entered the field of specimen restoration and exhibit fabrication at Research Casting Inc., where she built dinosaur skeletons for the movie Jurassic Park.
Always open to new projects, Christina collaborated with partner Kaja Blackley to illustrate and publish graphic novels. One of their novels, Dark Town, was adapted by 20th Century Fox as Monkeybone. In 2013, Christina embarked on her well-received solo exhibit African Wild. As a freelance illustrator and designer Christina is currently applying her artistic talents to a weekly web comic, The Partners 5.
